Misorientation Correlation Functions, MCFs, for a 72.5 percent cold-ro
lled OFE copper plate were calculated for groups of local lattice orie
ntation measurements taken from the tolling-normal and rolling-transve
rse planes of the sample. The MCFs' dependence upon sample direction,
orientation pair selection and the spatial separation of orientation m
easurements was explored. A preferred misorientation region in Euler s
pace was identified and found to contain misorientations corresponding
to coincides of SIGMA3, SIGMA33c, SIGMA37c and SIGMA43c. MCFs associa
ted with orientations of interest were found to exhibit unique charact
eristics.
