Abstract
This paper shows how to obtain equivalent circuit models, valid for bo
th small- and large-signal conditions and used for extraction of noise
parameters. The method to calculate noise for large-signal conditions
has been incorporated in the harmonic balance simulator, Microwave Ha
rmonica, which has been the main vehicle for showing the good agreemen
t between measured results and simulation of these circuits.
