On the basis of long observations in laboratory culture and of origina
l morphological investigations of digestive system and integumental ti
ssue the detailed analysis of unique process of schizeckenosy (Mitchel
l, Nadchatram, 1969) or mid-gut defecation in adults of trombiculid mi
tes is videly considered. Among five observed species this phenomenon
was registered only of two ones - Leptotrombidium orientate (15 cases)
and Hirsutiella zachvatkini (2 cases). The process of mid-gut defecat
ion has different morpho-physiological manifestation - from extension
or splintering of the integument in a back part of histerosoma without
any egress of some part of mid-gut (provocation of mid-gut defecation
) to destructive devastation of the body with simultaneous death. This
process is a result of superfluous feeding of some individuals with a
ges a half of the year or more in different generations in laboratory
culture. It leads o significant deterioration of functional conditions
of organism and in most occasions it is finished with death in a defi
nite period of time. The phenomenon of mid-gut defecation it is imposs
ible to consider as evolutional substitution of normal in all animals
with open intestines process of anal defecation.
