Abstract
With numerous imipenem-resistant clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeru ginosa as well as in vitro-selected resistant mutants, we have demonst rated, by,a simple method with a powerful cephalosporinase inhibitor, BRLA2715, the contribution of chromosomal cephalosporinase in resistan ce to imipenem in this species.
