A simulation would be a very effective method for analysis associated
with a prosthetic heart valve. In this paper we developed a simulation
program with the finite difference method for fluid analysis under st
eady flow condition. The numerical fluid analysis that obtained by thi
s analysis program was consistent with the results of flow visualizati
on experiment. By combining the Euler method and the Lagrange method s
imulated flow visualization of imaged particles is possible. This is e
ffective for an understanding of flow dynamics around prosthetic heart
valves.
