DESIGNS FOR MIXTURE AND PROCESS VARIABLES APPLIED IN TABLET FORMULATIONS

Although there are several methods for the construction of a design fo r process variables and mixture variables, there are not very many met hods which are suitable to combine mixture and process variables in on e design. Some of the methods which are feasible will be shown. These methods will be compared in a design space consisting of three mixture variables and two process variables. This comparison will be made wit h criteria from the theory of optimal design and with the aid of exper imental data.
