Abstract
The stability of suspensions suitable for the tape-casting of BaTiO3 h as been studied. The quality of dispersions obtained in phosphate-este r-containing MEK:EtOH has been determined in the context of conductivi ty measurements to indicate the degree of dissociation of the ester an d by adsorption measurements to indicate the nature of particle-disper sant interaction. Both electrostatic and steric contributions to stabi lization are found.
