Abstract
The Lagrangian flows of a particular divergenceless vector field on S3 , which could model incompressible hydrodynamic flow, are analysed num erically for a special choice of parameters. The chaotic properties of the motions are displayed in three-dimensional plots and Poincare map s. A strange nonchaotic attractor is discovered and its fine structure is shown in a Poincare section at different scales in detail.
