Abstract
The information available on the larvae of Australian Synlestidae is s ummarised. The larvae of Episynlestes albicauda (Tillyard), E. cristat us Watson and Moulds, E. intermedius Theischinger and Watson, Synleste s selysi Tillyard, S. tropicus Tillyard and the three subspecies of S. weyersii Selys (S. w. weyersii, S. w. nigrescens Tillyard and S. w. t illyardi Fraser) are described, and further details are given of the l arva of Chorismagrion risi Morton. The final instar larvae of Australi an Synlestidae are keyed.
