Abstract
Chortoicetes terminifera is recorded for the first time as a host of S celio parvicornis. Mean levels of parasitism ranged from 7.2-20% of ho st egg pods. S. parvicornis overwinters as first-instar larvae in diap ause host eggs. Incubation experiments indicate that a facultative dia pause, induced by low temperature occurred at the late First-instar la rval stage in 36.3% of the population.
