Abstract
The electrocatalytic hydrogenation (ECH) of 2-cyclohexen-1-one in aque ous methanol has been investigated under constant current at stainless steel and pressed powder graphite electrodes and at electrodes made o f electrodeposited nickel, copper and cobalt. High selectivity of the carbon-carbon double bond hydrogenation was observed with electrodepos ited nickel and copper electrodes. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Scie nce Ltd.
