Abstract
The momentum dependence of the two-proton correlation function is stud ied for central and peripheral Ar-36+Sc-45 collisions at E/A = 80 MeV. Calculations with the Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck transport theory re produce well the measured momentum dependence of the correlation funct ions for central collisions, but underpredict the momentum dependence for peripheral collisions.
