Abstract
Interaction energy of elementary particles of an inductively coupled p lasma was estimated with the Monte Carlo method used for canonical ens emble. In the calculations, the Lennard-Jones, the Coulomb, and the io n - polarisable atom interactions were considered. It was concluded th at the kinetic energy amounts to about 90% of the plasma energy. It is remarkable that the Coulomb energy values, given by the Debye-Huckel and the Mean Spherical Approximation theories, are practically identic al, and the results of the Monte Carlo calculations are in keeping wit h these results as well.
