Abstract
The goal of this study was to examine the familial resemblance of schi zotypic traits, and to explore whether different schizotypic traits ar e familially related to one another. Several of the Chapmans' psychosi s proneness scales were administered to a group of college students an d their families. Evidence of at least some familial resemblance was f ound for both physical anhedonia and perceptual aberration, though it was stronger for anhedonia. Anhedonia and perceptual aberration appear ed to be familially influenced independently of one another. Finally, the results indicated that offspring resembled their mothers more than they resembled their fathers on both anhedonia and perceptual aberrat ion.
