Abstract
Two cases of juxtaductal aortic atresia diagnosed as coarctation on cl inical and Doppler echocardiographic grounds are presented. The mislea ding nature of the Doppler flow velocity characteristics in this condi tion is discussed and raises questions as to the source of these flow velocities in coarctation.
