Abstract
This paper introduces a novel filter arrangement to be used in broad-b and adaptive antenna array processing. This arrangement is based on or thogonal functions filter sections behind each antenna element. Compar ed to the widely used finite impulse response filter arrangement, the present arrangement is found to have much better nulling performance a s well as a better converged signal-to-interference ratio for broad-ba nd interferences.
