Abstract
The optimum conditions for obtaining sensitive K- and D-serovar-specif ic Klebsiella antigenic erythrocyte diagnosticums have been establishe d. The methods of choice are sensitization with lipopolysaccharide ant igens at pH 5.0 and in a neutral medium at a temperature of 45-degrees -C for an hour. The reagents thus obtained have proved to be specific when tested in the passive hemagglutination test with antisera to Shig ella, Salmonella and Escherichia.
