Dd. Wang et G. Rivoire, LARGE SPECTRAL BANDWIDTH STIMULATED RAYLEIGH-WING SCATTERING IN CS(2), The Journal of chemical physics, 98(12), 1993, pp. 9279-9283
Large spectral bandwidth stimulated Rayleigh-wing scattering (SRWS) in
duced by picosecond laser pulse has been investigated in bulk liquid C
S2. The spectral broadening range of SRWS can reach up to 200 cm-1 on
Stokes side. Many features of this scattering, such as the shift of th
e spectral maximum from excitation line and the temperature dependence
, are presented. In order to explain the spectral broadening phenomeno
n, a possible mechanism based on collision-induced light scattering is
also discussed.
