Nh. March et al., NERNST, ETTINGSHAUSEN AND RIGHI-LEDUC PHENOMENA IN RELATION TO THE QUANTUM HALL-EFFECT IN 2-DIMENSIONAL ELECTRON ASSEMBLIES, Journal of physics and chemistry of solids, 54(6), 1993, pp. 745-746
In three-dimensional metallic conductors, it is well established from
the early work of Moreau and Bridgman that the Nernst and Ettingshause
n effects have magnitudes closely linked with the Hall constant R. The
purpose of the present note is to provide theoretical motivation for
experimental study of the Nernst, Ettingshausen and Right-Leduc phenom
ena in the two-dimensional electron assembly present in GaAs/AlGaAs he
terojunction.
