Abstract
An Ada based version of Ferguson's FORTRAN program to compute the gene ral N point fast Fourier transform is provided. Source codes for the t wo programs are compared and it is demonstrated that the execution tim e of the Ada program is comparable to that of the corresponding FORTRA N program.
