Abstract
The rates of the reactions of tetramethylsilane and trimethylchlorosil ane with atomic oxygen in the ground state [O(3P)] have been measured in a discharge flow system with mass spectrometric detection. All meas urements were performed in an excess of O-atoms in the temperature ran ge 298 K - 773 K.
