Abstract
Paragangliomas, also known as chemodectomas or glomus tumors, arise fr om nonchromaffin paraganglia or glomus bodies. 1 They may be unilatera l, bilateral, or multicentric, although they are more commonly associa ted with a glomus tumor in another location. Paragangliomas also have a familial distribution indicating a hereditary pattern that appears t o be autosomal dominant. We report two Turkish brothers with bilateral paragangliomas whose clinical symptoms manifested at the age of 17 ye ars and progressed in a similar manner.
