Abstract
Lumbosacral congenital cutaneous lesions have been recognized for a lo ng time by neurologists and neurosurgeons as markers of occult spinal defects, but only a few cases have been published and discussed in the dermatologic literature. Based on a case report, we emphasize the imp ortance of early diagnosis of these lesions, the use of new diagnostic techniques, and the correct management.
