Abstract
Copper and Zinc were determined in sediments and fish (Capoeta capoeta umbla) from the Tigris River in Turkey. Cu and Zn were found very hig h levels in the sediments and fish samples. This may be directly relat ed to the contamination of the Tigris River by Ergani Copper Plant and the geochemical structure of this region.
