Abstract
Kanamycin pretreatment through stomach tube eliminates the endotoxin p roducing Gram-negative bacteria of the intestinal flora and can delay the death of rats suffering from gastro-intestinal syndrome of radiati on disease. Endotoxins probably play a significant role in the patholo gical process of the syndrome.
