Abstract
Driven by a broadband YIG oscillator, the microwave chain only divides the oscillator output instead of multiplying and heterodyning like pr evious designs. The benefits include no subharmonics and higher-perfor mance pulse and amplitude modulation. The major functions of the micro wave chain are integrated on two microcircuits.
