Abstract
This paper describes the growth of an organometallic nonlinear optical material tri-allylthiourea mercury bromide grown from aqueous solutio n by temperature-lowering method. Its powder SHG intensity is 3.5 time s as high as that of urea. The dimension of ATMB crystal can reach 13X 13X10 mm3. The as-grown crystals have been characterized and its linea r optical properties are also presented.
