Abstract
Against the background of significant spatial variability (from 30 to 90 percent for different heavy metals (HM)), the seasonal dynamics of the content of mobile forms of Zn, Fe, Mn, Cu, Pb, and Cd compounds in cultivated Sod-Podzolic soils and concentrations of Fe, Mn, and Zn in groundwater is reliably detected (P = 0.95). The factors which affect the seasonal dynamics of HM are investigated. Mechanisms which regula te the HM concentration in groundwater are studied.
