Abstract
The surmountable (competitive) N1-(2-methylphenyl)-2H-imidazol-2-one a ngiotensin II receptor antagonist SC-54628 is converted to an insurmou ntable (noncompetitive) antagonist SC-54629 by the addition of a methy l group at the 6-position of the phenyl ring.
