Abstract
Flat and chevron type opaque photocathodes, coated with a 5 mum thick CsI film onto a copper substratum, were compared through measurements of the saturation photocurrent under vacuum. For photocathodes with ch evron angles of 90-degrees and 120-degrees the saturation current is t ypically 30 % larger than that for the flat ones.
