Abstract
Charge carrier mobility has been determined in field-effect transistor s fabricated from conjugated thiophene oligomers and some of their alp ha or beta alkylated derivatives. The results allow to analyze the con tributions of conjugation length, interchain spacing and long range or der in the charge transport in conjugated materials.
