Abstract
The paper presents results of numerical calculations of the statics (c rystal structure minimisation) and lattice dynamics for the neutral (h igher temperature) phase of the TTF-Chloranil crystal. The results, in particular the low frequency phonons are discussed in relation to neu tral-ionic phase transition, which takes place in the system at around 80 K.
