The successful synthesis and characterisation of mu-bridged stacked co
polymers based on Fluoroaluminium phthalocyanine is reported. Modifica
tion of the d.c., a.c. and photoelectric properties of this material h
ave clearly been demonstrated. Furthermore, iodine doping leads to hig
h conductivity, limited by disorder and resembles the behaviour of cla
ssical alloys.
