Abstract
Preparing pre-professional students for passage of licensure examinati ons is a major concern of college and university educators. This artic le addresses the general topic of licensure testing of teachers and re commends actions that should be taken to ensure the maintenance of pro fessional standards and the induction of more minorities into the teac hing ranks.
