The use of high-aperture spectrograph with spherical mica crystall per
mitted to register H- and He-like spectra of Al and Si with high spect
ral (lambda/DELTAlambda approximately 3000) and spatial (approximately
30 mum) resolution both at the stage of maximal compression and of X-
pinch plasma expansion. The electron temperature (up to 950 eV) and de
nsity (up to 2.10(24) cm-3) are measured in the ''hot point'' together
with the plasma parameters at the stage of plasma expansion. The ener
gy evaluation showed that the energy of K-lines emission may reach up
to 1 J (the power of 1 GW). Total energy of ''hot point'' emission for
X-pinch plasma was about 1 kJ in the wavelength interval of 0.5 - 10
nm. So the X-pinch ''hot point'' emission may be an effective pump sou
rce for active medium of roentgen laser, and recombining plasma expand
ed from the hot area could itself serve as an active medium for shortw
avelength lasers.
