Abstract
A new general state-space representation for causal and anticausal dis crete-time systems is introduced. Some of its properties related to sy stems and network theory concepts are developed. The relation to the d escriptor form state-space representation is also explained. Applicati ons are given to show the usefulness of the new representation.
