Abstract
Complexes of composition Ln(F3C-SO3)3 . 5DPPA (where Ln is La, Ce, Nd- Lu, Y) were investigated by TG analysis, IR spectroscopy and visible e mission spectroscopy of one of the decomposition products. When heated in dynamic air atmosphere the compounds initially lose some of the DP PA molecules and then the products decompose giving a mixture of carbo n, lanthanoid phosphate and lanthanide-oxo-trifluoromethanesulfonate.
