Cycleability performance of 'tailor-made' poly(N-oxyalkyipyrrole) elec
trodes in solid-state lithium cells with poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)-ba
sed electrolyte are compared with that of poly(N-butylpyrrole) and pol
y(pyrrole) electrodes. The specific effect of ether groups in improvin
g the ionic transport in the polymer electrodes was demonstrated by de
termining the ion diffusion coefficients from analysis of the impedanc
e spectra.
