Sm. Leshchev et Vi. Onishchuk, CERTAIN FEATURES OF THE EXTRACTION OF SIMPLE AND CONDENSED AROMATIC-HYDROCARBONS, Petroleum chemistry, 33(1), 1993, pp. 82-86
An investigation has been made of the distribution of certain examples
of simple and condensed aromatic hydrocarbons between n-octane and a
polar phase in the form of organic solvents and their mixtures with wa
ter. It has been found that the dependences of the distribution consta
nts of aromatic hydrocarbons on the composition of the polar water-org
anic phase are well-defined, but their absolute values and the nature
of change in extractability among benzene, naphthalene and phenanthren
e depend on the nature and the content of the organic solvent in the p
olar phase. The basic possibility of extraction separation of condense
d aromatic hydrocarbons is shown.
