Abstract
NTT has prepared and used Electromagnetic Emission Guidelines for supp ressing the disturbance caused by telecommunications equipment, Electr omagnetic Immunity Guidelines for protecting telecommunications equipm ent from external disturbance, and guidelines for the bonding configur ation and earthing of the equipment in telecommunication center. This special issue outlines these guidelines and related international stan dardization efforts.
