Abstract
Peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (PBSCT) is increasingly use d to support cancer treatment in adults and children. In this review w e describe methodological aspects of PBSCT, compare it with autologous bone marrow transplantation (autoBMT), and review the first clinical results obtained with PBSCT in childhood.
