Abstract
The thermal properties of a segmented poly(ether ester) [Hytrel] were investigated by thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). In particular, the influence of irradiation and thermal treatm ent on the transition temperature and crystallinity of the polymer was studied. DSC and X-ray diffraction were used to assess the crystallin ity of poly(ether ester). Crystallinity increases with length of irrad iation. However, it was found to decrease with thermal treatment.
