Sv. Muchnik et al., PREPARATION AND FORMABILITY OF COPPER PHOSPHIDE CU3P POWDERS, Soviet powder metallurgy and metal ceramics, 31(11), 1992, pp. 922-925
A method is described for preparing Cu3P powder by low-temperature rea
ction sintering from a mixture of the elements. According to thermal a
nalysis data the phosphide forms at approximately 470 K; particles of
it assume the shape and size of the original copper powder. It is esta
blished that formability depends on the hardness and plasticity of par
ticles rather than powder shaper and bulk density.
