Abstract
The influence of polymerization time on the electrical properties of p olypyrrole grown at the sulfonated surface of polyethylene films has b een investigated. Sulfonated films of low and high density polyethylen e with two very different sulfonation degrees values (0.15 and almost- equal-to 2.5 g/m2) were used as sustrate of the polymerization reactio n. Infrared data from freshly prepared samples and data concerning ele ctrical conductivity are presented.
