Abstract
A hypothesis which considers the role of doping of marcromolecules gen erated in the process of polyphenylene synthesis, is proposed. Such, f lexible transparent high-molecular (n>90) films of polyphenylene were obtained by electrochemical polymerization of benzene in aluminum chlo ride and butylpyridiniumchloride based ionic liquid under high potenti al. Effects of the process parameters on the structure and molecular m ass of the samples were studied.
