Abstract
The possibility for differential pulse polarography (DPP) determinatio n of s-triazine has been shown and compared with gas-chromatographic ( GC) measurements. Good agreement was found between GC and DPP measurem ents in analyzing 20 samples of industrial wastewater. It was found, u sing controlled potential coulometry (CPC), that four electrons take p art in electrochemical reduction steps. On the basis of this and polar ographic measurements, the mechanism of electrochemical reduction of s -triazine was postulated.
