Abstract
The thermodynamic compatibility of methylcellulose and polyvinylpyrrol idone was studied by the method of static sorption. The two polymers a re compatible in composition ranges close to the pure components and w hen the ratio of the components is close to 1 : 1. The system loses st ability as the component ratio becomes close to 1 : 2.
