Abstract
Bismuth imines of the general formula ArBi=NSO2Rf have been prepared e ither by the reaction of Ar3BiCl2 with the corresponding perfluoroalky lsulfonic acid amide in the presence of NaOCH3 or by the reaction of A r3BiF2 with CF3SO2N[Si(CH3)3]2. Bismuth imines Ar3Bi=NSO2Rf as well as (C6H5)3Bi=NSO2 (4-CH3C6H4) were obtained as crystalline solids and ch aracterized by NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and consecutive re actions.
