Abstract
The speckle correlation function of light transmitted through a disord ered slab is studied. A multiple scattering expansion for resonant poi nt scatterers is employed. Taking into account the influence of bounda ry layers and absorption, the general expression for the correlation f unction is presented. It is shown that the Langevin treatment and the diagrammatic approach coincide.
