We describe how a recently published algorithm, which addresses the si
gn problem within the context of the Green's function Monte Carlo meth
od, can be implemented in a parallel distributed environment. The meth
od of parallelization maintains large granularity and therefore low ov
erhead. Despite the stochastic nature of the algorithm, good load-bala
ncing can be accomplished and reproducibility is ensured.
